- Lux LED facade systems
- Perforated facades
- Fins
- Twisted facades
- Cascade™
- Facades by Design™
- Any other custom or modified façade system where the primary function is aesthetics. Performance may be a secondary function.
- We have countless rectangular tube, airfoil and tear drop shapes. Custom shapes are also quite popular. Speak with your local representative to review the available options and find the perfect fit for your project.
- CS has a range of standard patterns; 3/8’’ hole with ½’’ stagger, 5/8’’ hole with ½’’ stagger, 1/2’’ hole, 1’’ hole, and more. Custom patterns can also be created.
- Facades by Design is available on both fins and perforated systems. Speak with your local representative for next steps in creating a truly unique and customized façade image.
- CS will collaborate with you on your project to create details to fit your need. CS can also create renderings and 3D model custom configurations.
- CS fin systems are all capable of incorporating LED lights. Have a custom system to integrate LED lights? CS is happy to review.
- Every facade solutions system is engineered. Additionally, CS will follow with signed and sealed engineering calculations after record submittal drawings.
- CS has an experienced and dedicated team focused on Facade Solutions. Please reach out to your local representative for inquires and they can help you connect with the Facade Solution team.
- CS offers standard + metallic colors, woodgrain, and custom options available to suit your needs (Finishes tab under each Facade Solution product).
- CS frequently mounts sunshades to steel, concrete, metal panel, curtainwall, storefront and brick.
- Yes, CS estimates the wind and snow load on a sunshade based on job specific information and uses this information to design and engineer a structurally sound system. CS supports this determination with engineering calculations (signed and sealed if necessary).
- It is recommended you run the system through a simulation program. BIM has these capabilities. CS provided CAD details can be converted/applied to these simulations.
- CS can calculate the spans based on project specific information.

- CS sunshades are made of aluminum
- The windload acting upwards on cantilevered sunshades. Air pressure below the system is greater than the air pressure above the system resulting in a new upward force on the sunshade.
- CS engineering calculates and factors this into our designs based on project specific loading.
- Alternating wind directions acting on tall structures impose wind loads which cause the system to vibrate. This should be considered when designing the system.
- CS offers many different sunshade types/orientations. Contact us to discuss which works best for your project.
